Well things slowed down a little bit. I am working on Mitten number 3. I have included a pic of this little mitten. I am really loving stitching on these… Hoping I have a whole tree full by December. I have been working on one other WIP but cannot show that one just yet. Well have a wonderful night.

Bring on the Mitens

Well I have finished stitching 2 mittens so far. Trying to stitch 5 a month… key is also finishing 5 a month… in order to have enough for a tree by next december. Here are the 2 that I have done so far.

Still have to add a cardinal button to the birdhouse mitten and possibly a button or two to the mitten mitten.

Paul and I were able to go to the Utah Jazz game on Saturday January 14, 2012. WE WON… yeah. He got to meet Thurl Bailey, Ron Boone, and Phil Johnson. He was so excited.

Wipocalypse Official Post #1

Well January is here. Whew survived the holidays. I have my first new finish of the year. I finished Mitten Number 1 and started on Mitten Number 2. I am loving stitching these CEC Mittens. They stitch up really fast. Still have to get some stitches into my UFO project.

Just have to add the cardinal button to the birdhouse and the first mitten is ready for finishing.

Wipocalypse–First Finish 2012

Although I don’t have to post yet … this is my first finish for 2012. It is also my first ornament. Not the best I have ever done but it turned out ok. Will do many things differently next time. But not bad for my first time.

Wipocalypse 2012 and a Return to Blogging…

For any of my non crafty or non stitchy friends… WIP stands for Work in Progress… and of course most know about apocalypse. I have signed up for a SAL in which to finish any unfinished projects or to help me get new ones started and done that I would like to do. My plan is to decorate my Christmas tree in 2012 with all hand made ornaments. My tree will be done in the Cross Eyed Cricket mittens. I love Vicki Hastings mitten designs. She has more than enough to decorate a whole tree with no duplicates. Just in case though I plan to also stitch a really cute snowman flake design that was in the 2010 Just Cross Stitch Ornament Issue.

I am including a list of all the CEC Mittens that Vicki Hastings so graciously provided to me to aid in my stitching efforts. Wish me luck in this mighty task.

2012 Will hopefully be a year of new beginnings. My goal for the moment is to attempt to lose 40 lbs. (I need to lose much more but just concentrating on 40 right now). Will keep all posted as the year goes on.

A Halloween Finish

I have been stitching and actually finished a piece into a cube. I stitched a stitchy kitty design out of the Just Cross Stitch Halloween Ornament issue. It turned out pretty cute I think. I still have to put a bow and ribbons on top of it… but you get the gist.

This was a fun finish.

Surprise …. I am Back!

Its been forever since I updated this blog. I thought I would try to start again. I finished an autumn cross stitch piece last night I thought I would share with you.

I plan to make this into a door hanger. I changed some of the colors up a bit. The grass I used an overdyed called kudzu instead of the golden color it called for. I was pretty happy with the way it turned out. I will post the pics once I get it finished.

I saw this card on another blog… Dawn Griffiths did this card in different colors. I really liked it. Its using the emboss resist technique. The colors are Bravo Burgandy, Kraft (crumbcake now) and white.

In other news. Paul turned 10 on Wednesday. I can’t believe my baby is 10. He had a wonderful party on the 20th and we went to see the Utah Jazz play on Wednesday. We won and he had a great time.

Don’t Faint Another Update

I got a chance this last weekend to put some stitches in an old WIP.. its an old Leisure Arts Kit called “Checking it Twice”. I love this design. Course I got rid of the Aida and substituted evenweave and got rid of the floss that the kit came with and substituted DMC. I just work on it while I can. Below is a pic of what its supposed to look like and my progress from the 13th and 17th of November.

Its beginning to finally take shape. I can’t wait to get this framed. I would like to try and put it in maybe a round frame but we will see.

THE SUPPLY COLLECTORS TWELVE STEPS

1. We admitted we were powerless over craft supplies - that our lives (or at least our space) had become unmanageable.
2. Came to believe that our sister crafters could help us return to sanity.
3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to ourselves and not be influenced by coupons and bargains.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of all our supplies.
5. Admitted to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our shopping.

I am baaaack…..

Well a lot has happened since last posted. I graduated in May of 2010. My son and I got to go to Disneyland. It was just a fabulous trip. I also started a new job for the same company I worked for, I am the Business Office Manager for our newest Senior facility. It is so nice now to have time to actually Stamp and Stitch and spend time with my son. Below are some cards i have done in the recent past. I am in the middle of cleaning my stamp and stitching room. There is a monumental task in its own right. I will post pictures of my stamp catalog and my clean room lol. I am putting together a catalog of all my stamp sets so that I can find what I want when I need it. I never thought it would be all that important but its come in handy already.

This was created for a great friend in California for her Birthday. She loves Cows and this was perfect.

I made these for our new residents moving in.

I made these two at a stamp camp in September. The wreath is braded and was kind of tricky but fun too. I loved the clean and simple christmas card we made.

Well I better head off to bed now. More tomorrow.

Couple of items and more

Today I received the nicest card from the RAK group at Split Coast Stampers. Heather sent me this card. She did such a nice job.

My friend made the next card front in a sympathy swap. I happened to need a quick card so she gave me one of the fronts she had made. She did a beautiful job.

Right now things are so hectic. Its the last 2 weeks of school. Plus I have a big ugly scary birthday coming up on the 30th. Lets just say I am 29 again with LOTS of experience lol.

Today not only was a bad day at home and work but also from the school standpoint. That midterm I took a couple weeks ago …. well I got 90 on it.. well if the total possible was 100 then I would have been ecstatic but the total possible was 200 yes thats right 200. The only thing I can say is thank God for the curve…. I do still have a chance to pull my grades out but the next month is going to be H***. Wish me luck if you can. Its going to be a long 45 days or so.

Work..Work..Work..Little bit of Stitching… Work

Well I had to work all weekend. We are so behind that we are working overtime. Its been a pain as far as trying to study and such but I did get a tiny bit of stitching in.

Stoney Creek sent me a model to work on (of course I cant show that here) but I also commissioned a personalized sampler from Stephanie Twillman of www.nouveauencore.com she is fabulous to work with. This sampler is for one of our Partners at work who is going on a 3 year LDS mission in July. I had the sampler personalized for him and his wife. Below is a picture of what it will look like. Its gorgeous.

Stephanie just did fabulous work. I am just amazed. Check her website out… you wont be dissapointed.

LOL no I am not bragging... I signed up with The Angel Company... I am officially a demonstrator for them. I am really excited. I signed up mostly to be a Hobby Demo (lol basically I am my own best customer) but hey if other orders come my way I won't turn them down lol. I love their stamps. I got a whole bunch with my starter kit and I placed my first order and have a bunch more coming. I will need to start making more cards to put on my blog now I suppose lol. Right now they have a fabulous deal going on. Any T coded stamp set is 50% off. LOL I took advantage of that. I also got an additional 50.00 worth of stamp sets in addition to my starter kit. It was like Christmas all over again.

Happy Birthday Card...

I joined a swap on Splitcoast Stampers and it was for birthday cards. I made this one from a sketch provided on sheetload of cards blog. I used Kraft paper as a base and Black, Pixie Pink, & Pretty in Pink. I think it turned out pretty good.

The picture is a bit askew... The card isn't crooked. I would do things a bit differently if I was making the card again. I would put ribbon on the bottom of the striped piece before I mounted it down lol. But for my first attempt it isn't too bad.

My very first Biscornu finish!!!!

Well I finally did it. I ventured into the world of Biscornu's. I saw a pattern on the online needlwork show that I had to have. My friend Margot loves pigs so when I saw the design "Holy Mud" by Barbara Ana I had to get it. Below are some pics of what it was supposed to look like and my Biscornu. I dont think its too bad considering its my first attempt. I would like to thank Mary Katherine from STO for the instructions on how to finish it. I got them off her blog I believe.

Here is my actual Biscornu. I thought this design was just too cute to not stitch for my friend.

All in all not to shabby for my first attempt. I didnt use the same fabric colors as the model but I still thought it turned out ok. Margot loved it and was tickled pink lol excuse the pun.

New Member of our family....

Introducing the newest member of our family.... Sophie... She is a Blue Persian kitten. Her daddy was a Russian Blue and her momma was a Persian. She weighs a wopping 10 oz... yes thats right ounces. She is the runt of the litter and a little feisty fur ball. Lol... She and Lucky are still trying to get used to each other.

We got Sophie on November 21st for Paul's birthday. Hopefully once she and Lucky get used to each other they will make great companions for each other.

She has the prettiest long gray fur. Shes a feisty little thing.

Paul was in seventh heaven with her. She has made a great addition to our family.

Ok Hold on to your hats....

LOL I plan to do some major updating. I will probably do individual posts for each item as there is a lot of items to go over.

First on the agenda: My mom. Mom is out of the hospital and doing much better. She still gets tired and sore in her chest but over all she's doing pretty good with the exception of getting a staph infection from the hospital. There was only one antibiotic that would make it go away and they gave it to her. I am just very very very grateful that Mom is ok and we did not lose her. I really appreciate all your thoughts and prayers. It really helped. She was in the hospital for 2 1/2 weeks and in intensive care for 1 of those. Unfortunately Mom did not have insurance and her bills up to this point total over 125,000.00. So keep your thoughts that they can get some financial help to pay for those bills. She ended up having a 5 bypass and they found that she has a mild case of Emphysema. But she is not on oxygen at all and is home and trying to get back to normal.

On to another subject. My Utes play in the Sugar Bowl on Friday (for those of you not familiar with them.... I attend the University of Utah and our football team is the Runnin Utes.) They had a fabulous season and are 12-0 at this point. I am so looking forward to the football game on Friday. We play against Alabama - Crimson Tide.

Christmas was very good to us this year. We of course had the best present in Mom being better. But Paul got a Wii from Santa. He also got a bunch of games to go with it. I got some stamping stuff from my friend Margot. I got some clothes and perfume from Mom. Mom also got me a new mattress pad for my bed. I was excited. I really needed a new one.

School ended on the 15th of December... My grades were not as good as I would have liked but I got a C+ out of both classes. I was so close to a B- but I hope to do better next semester. I start up again on January 13th. After Spring 2009 Semester is over. I only have 2 semesters left. I hope to have my BS in accounting by May 2010. I can not believe that there is finally a light at the end of a very long tunnel. I really look forward to graduating. I will be over 40 by the time I graduate but at least better late than never. I did it while working full time and being a single mother. I am pretty proud of myself.

Update on my Mom

Mom will be having a 5 bypass in the morning. (Sunday the 26th). She has 5 almost completely blocked arteries. I am sure she will feel so much better once its all over. Almost good as new. We just have to get through the next 8 weeks or so. Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Please if you can think good thoughts right now. My mom is in the ICU right now... They are looking at Congestive Heart Failure... it sounds worse I think than it is. I mean its not great but I think she can function well for a while with meds and stuff but things are really scary right now. My mom means the world to me. She is also the person who teaches and takes care of my son while I work and go to school. Paul is so very close to his grandma. Thank you to all my friends and family. We will get through this.

A couple of new cards and my Utes.

Well The University of Utah played Colorado State today. Colorado State took a sound beating from us. It was a great game. We play New Mexico next. The U of U is now 8-0. Wooohooo congrats to our players.

Here are a couple of cards I made in the last little while.

Not really sure how I like this one yet or not. I used Old Olive, Elegant Eggplant, & Pumpkin Pie card stock. The stamps were by Hero Arts. I used direct to paper inking on the images with Elegant Eggplant ink from Stampin up. The witches hat is stamped in Elegant Eggplant, The cat and the bats are stamped with Black ink from Pallette Noir, and the pumpkin is stamped with Pumpkin Pie ink from Stampin Up. The base is kraft CS from stampin up.

This card I made a while back. The card stock is pumpkin pie, always artichoke, and Elegant Eggplant. The stamps are a set by Stampin up. I am not sure of the name as I made this at a friends house. I like how this one turned out and my try to duplicate it again.

I got the nicest package from my secret sister (I am participating in a secret sister program on splitcoaststampers.com) I got 2 sets of clear stamps from Studio G. The first set has a scarecrow and 4 different sayings, and the second has 2 leaves, a pumpkin, an acorn and a saying (Fall is in the air). I got a small bottle of aleene's tacky glue (love it), a 2009 planner, a set of bookmarks, some mini clothes pins, and a couple of tassels. I also got a CB embossing folder, and a notebook. It was the nicest package. Really brightened my day.

Well I better get back to the books now.

Go Utes... & Body World 3

Today Paul and I ventured out to Salt Lake and attended Bodyworld 3. The bodyworld was very very interesting. Its amazing the human body. They had each and every piece there for sure. It took us about 1 1/2 hours to get through the whole thing. They preserve the bodies through a process called plastication. Its really very amazing. Paul handled it very well and we really enjoyed our selves.

And how about those Utes. Our running Utes scored 40 - 7 today against Wyoming. We are now 7 and 0. Woohooo keep it up Utes.

Well I need to get back and watch tv with Paul. I am off school this week and it feels wonderful.

Card and Stitching Updates

I made this card at a friends house on Thursday. We used the polished stone technique. You can find a tutorial at splitcoaststampers on this technique. You use reinkers and alcohol on glossy cardstock. The base of the card is not quite navy by SU, the mat is Baja Breeze, and the reinkers used are Baja Breeze and Bashful blue for the sky behind the sailboat. The stamp set is Winds of Grace by SU. We used the polished stone technique on the background and then stamped the ship on it.

I also over the last few weeks did a tiny bit more stitching on my memorial piece. I need to redo some of the lettering and get it centered and straight. The writing will read William Alan on the first line and Steinmeyer on the second then below that 06/07/67 to 06/02/2008. I hope its not to girly or feminine for the recipient.

Well I better get back to school and Laundry for the night.

New Card

Thought I would take a quick moment and post a card I made the other day. I cased a card I saw on Cornish Heritage Farm's Website sort of. I love the colors in this card.

Tonight (Saturday September 27th) Paul and I got to attend the University of Utah football game. We won 37 to 21. It was a great game. We enjoyed it together.

School is in full force now and taking up so much time. But I cant believe that its 1/3 over.

Bad Pet Momma

I thought I would add a quick post and show you some pics of our puppy lucky. I was a bad pet momma and let all his cute hair get tangled and a few weeks ago we had to have him shaved. I will be so glad when his hair grows back. He doesnt even look like the Shitzu/Corgi mix he is right now. I will post more later. I have an update to my stitching project and a couple of cards I have made. But for now I will leave you with a quick post of our puppy Lucky.

Drive Home

So this isnt craft related at all.... LOL its a vent... I am sitting here trying to unwind.

ok I left work at 5:20 pm and walked in my door at 10:02 pm.... I am exhausted! How far do I have to drive? you might ask.... 22 miles.. Thats it... but when some bone head shipping company decides to take a 210,000 lb (yes you read that right) tank on a truck that is not big enough to haul it and try to haul it on our freeway just prior to rush hour... I would like to kill him.... It rolled off the truck and broke the freeway .. so more lovely construction some more.... ok vent over... whew that feels much better lol. Now back to your regularly scheduled programming.

A little of this and a little of that....

Well for my stitching followers... I started a new project. I had a friend lose his son in June and I saw this memorial piece in the new Stoney Creek cross stitch magazine. I will post a pic of the piece as it is supposed to look and my piece so far. The words read "God has you in his arms, We have you in our hearts" and you are supposed to put a relation and then a name but I am taking the two lines for the name and then I will put the dates on it. Not sure I am happy with my fabric color choice but I am sort of committed to it now.

Not much new on the stampin front... I got my first paper pretties stamp and I love her. Darling girl in bunny slippers. Shes absolutely darling. I also got my EP swap from Gill from a card group I am on.
Summer is coming to a close way way way too fast.

Mom's Birthday

I just thought I would post a short post and put a picture of the card that I made for my mom for her birthday tonight. It turned out rather well I think. I hope she likes it. I used very vanilla (stampin up cardstock) and used my cuttlebug on it and embossed the swirly part. The stripes are designer paper and the base of the card is always artichoke and the next map is mellow moss from stampin up. The ribbon is just my stash.

I really hope she likes it. She doesnt let us celebrate her birthday much.

My New Stamp Storage

I have bought 2 CD racks from target (6.99) that hold 40 CD's a piece. Then I put all my stamp sets (I have unmounted everything) in the CD cases and put them on the CD racks. Its working out really well so far.

New Card

I made this card... or rather finished this card tonight. It started out like the first pic and ended up the second pic. I made this for a swap... I hope the recipient likes it.

I used cool caribbean, basic black, and Neenah Crest White, and designer paper. I used tempting turquoise ribbon, 3 butterfly brads, and prisma color pencils. I think it turned out ok.

Well the summer heat has finally reached us. Its been terrible and now my air conditioning isnt working.

I have been busy. I created a card today. I needed a baby card. Here is the card. I used Bashful Blue cardstock from Stampin up and some designer paper. It didnt quite turn out how I pictured it but it turned out ok. I have been trying to clean up my craft room and such so I can create more. Its a slow process to figure out how you want to be organized. Very slow process.

Almost like my Birthday All Over again

I went to my friend Margot's house tonight and walked away with 2 Jumbo wheels, 2 stamp sets some stamp cleaner, a jar for ribbon and a card she made that she didnt like. (I personally love the card). It was way fun.

Well school is over. I am finally decompressing now. I am really looking forward to the summer months.

On Saturday Paul and I are going to go to the zoo. It is a mothers day thing a day early. I am looking forward to it.

I have finished a Model for Stoney creek and am working on one for Debbie Draper now. So things are getting to be nice and laid back for right now. Definately needed.

Will post pics of my yard soon. Getting things planted and trimmed up.

Ok... I need to actually be in bed... But the stress is killing me. In about 6 hours and 45 minutes I will be sitting in my Accounting exam and at 6 pm tomorrow night in my finance exam. Please pray, cross whatever... rub buddah's belly.. whatever you do just pray that all that I have crammed into my brain will be accessible to me when I need it and how I need it. Theres not much more I can do...

I will say that I Absolutely HATE the TI BA II Plus financial Calculator. This thing has been the bain of my existence since I was required to purchase it in January. I have developed great loathing for this little machine pictured to the left. I have never had such problems learning to use a calculator except maybe the TI81.... hmmm sense a trend here?

Well I will sign off and try to pretend to sleep.

72 Hours and Counting....

Well this time Monday night this semester will be all over and done with. I am so stressed about it. I have been a studying fool but still am very very nervous. I desperately need a B- or better in both classes and I am not sure my grade in my accounting class will measure up to that. Please keep all fingers, toes, and anything else you can think of crossed that I will get that ever elusive B- or better.

I have both tests on Monday. Accounting in the am and Finance in the pm. I have been one stressed unit for sure. Well I better get back to the books while I still can.

Mothers Day Ensemble

On Sunday My friend Margot and I got together and we made this ensemble for mothers day.

I stamped tissue paper,made a card, and a gift bag. I plan to use them for my mom for mothers day. I thought they turned out rather nice.

Well 7 days and counting till D day.. or should I say T day (T for test). I need all the good thoughts anyone can muster. I am panicked about my accounting test. Keep good thoughts.

School... School... and More School

Well it is now crunch time. I have both finals on the 28th of April... I am so stressed .... been up till 3 am most nights to try and study for them. I need a B- in both classes... Think Finance will be ok but very stressed about Accounting. If you can spare a minute.. please keep good thoughts, fingers crossed and whatever else that will bring me luck on the 28th. Counting down till summer for sure.. I need to take pictures tomorrow as my tulips are starting to bloom... I am really looking forward to them.

I am really excited.... I am a member of a stamping club (card making) and I am the hostess this month... I get so many fun things this month.. We had a large order so I get 6 stamp pads, a stamp caddy, stamp labels for my stamp pads, 3 stamp sets (Cause for Celebration, A little bit of Happiness, and Time well spent from stampin up), a stamp scrubber, and wheel guides for using the wheels.

It will be like christmas all over again... plus its my birthday this month so it will be really nice.. Can't wait till school is out and I get to play.

April 13, 2008 This N That

Thought I better update. Its been a while. I plan to try and be better about it.

I got a few things accomplished today. (yes don't pass out that A. I did something besides homework and B. got something accomplished today.) I planted almost 40 tulips. Some were plants and some were from bulbs. I am really excited. I love Tulips. But it made me really sore... I need to do lots more yardwork when the semester is over.

I dont know how many of you know but we got a puppy in November. His name is Lucky. He is a Shitzu/Corgi Mix. Hes really a cutie. Well he was.... He had to get a major hair cut yesterday and he looks awful now. I cannot wait till his hair grows out again.

I also made a card today. I have a friend at work that I needed to make a sympathy card for. It turned out ok... not quite what I had planned but it is ok for not making a card in a while.

I have done a little stitching lately but can't say much more as its all been model stitching. When I can post more I will.

As for now I am trying to pull my Accounting grade out of the toilet. I have 2 weeks left and am praying for a B- in both classes... Please pray, keep things crossed, whatever you do that will bring about some luck for me. I really need it this semster.

Well we got Paul's School Pictures back. Hes a cutie most days lol. I think these pictures turned out pretty good for school pictures.

I got an 89 on my accounting midterm. Yes I am still stoked. I was hoping for 80 and got 89. I wont complain.

Right now just working on another door hanger when not studying. It will be a cute santa. Stay tuned for more pics.

There is a Difference in Paint

I found out the hard way this weekend that there is a difference in acrylic paint. I bought some lovely Americana red paint to paint a door hanger for a new hanger I am planning. After waisting 3 yes thats 3 wooden door hangers (thank god they are only .89 cents.)I called Michaels and found out that Yes there is a difference between Delta ceramcoat and Americana. Ceramcoat is thicker. Well I started to put a coat on tonight of red ceramcoat and low and behold that is definately true. You live some you learn some. I will post a pic as soon as the stitching for my santa door hanger is finished. I am currently backstitching at the moment. Hes going to be a cutie ... stay tuned.

Small Finish and Midterms

Well I took my midterm this morning. I think (translate hope and pray) that I got at least 75-80 out of 100. I will be very happy with this grade as it translates into a better grade with the curve. The other night I took a couple hours out of studying and was able to finish another small stitch. This is a pine mountain kit called Noah and his crew. It turned out rather nice for just a couple of hours work.

Paul went trick or treating last night. Paul is the one dressed as Darth Vader. Made out like a bandit. He was in bed when I got home tonight. Thursday's I attend two classes, one in the morning then work, then one in the evening. So thursdays are not my favorite day.

Well I added some cording to this and I think it made it work much better. I liked it so much I am doing one more. I really like this finish. There are so many designs that lend themselves to this kind of finish. Thanks for looking at it.

Finished a finish

I just finished the bent creek signs of winter into a door hanger. It was great. I think it looks pretty spiffy. The tip I learned from my book was to cut an L shap at the top and bottom for example: L L but picture the second L flipped. Then fold in the sides and put the top down. It helps with mitering the corners.

Well the quiz didnt go so well but I will do well on the midterm I have to. Hope you like my finish.

Catching Up

Well Paul is getting a cold or something. That always worries me. I have a quiz on Tuesday... That too worries me lol. Right now I am working on (toying with the idea) of stitching Pine Mountain's Tie on Winter.. .Only I am stitching it on 32 ct and it will be made into a mini cube if that works out.. We will see... I am just now working on learning finishing. I did find a new idea in one of my books I have placed on ebay. A tip for making the fabric lay flatter when you mount it to poster board. I will let you know if it works out.

Toothless Again

Well Paul is again toothless x 2. He has lost a tooth on the top and a tooth on the bottom. So the tooth fairy has had to fork out the dough in the last week and a half lol.

School is in session and roaring full speed. Trying to find time for everything. I still need some stitch time.

Working on learning to finish better. I have picked up a few new techniques.

I am going to try and update more often. Here is a small finish I managed. Its by Bent Creek and is called signs of winter. I think it turned out so cute. Its about 5 inches tall by 3 inches wide and is done on 32ct blue lugana. I think he turned out really cute.

Been a while I know

I know its been a while since I updated. Been extremely busy lately. I have been trying to finish a model for Stoney Creek and we moved of course. I thought I would post some pics of our new house. We are so much enjoying having a house to come home to rather than an apt. We moved closer to my mom and its been very nice.

School starts again for Paul and I this month. Paul starts on the 29th and I start on the 21st. Back to the grindstone again. No more leisurely summer days.

Easter Sunday - Easter Bunny Came

Well Easter has come and gone. Paul got a great easter basket from the Easter bunny. He got 2 games for his game cube, some bubbles, a little stuffed chick, a book and candy. He got enough money in the eggs in his easter basket that he can go buy one more game for his gamecube. We had Steak and lobster and shrimp for dinner. mmmmmmm it was soooo yummy. School will soon be done. I believe I am done on the 24th of April for the summer. I cant wait.

New Year

Its been a while since I updated. Sorry about that. Well lets see whats been going on. Paul lost not only the first loose tooth but the second as well. I got the B's I needed and YESSSSSSSS i was admitted to the Business School at the Universtiy of Utah. I am now upper division and school has started again. I am trying to get into the groove of things with school. Its not easy.

The weather has been terrible its about 10 degrees for the high and 3 or 1 for the low. Not my idea of a good time.

My baby has a loose tooth. Hes growing up toooo fast on me. He had a fabulous birthday and now that hes 6 hes grown up overnight. I cant handle this. Man I feel like tomorrow I will wake up and he will be in college. Hes just tooo big. His party was so much fun. He got spoiled rotten. Cant believe hes 6. This whole weekend went by too fast.

Well today was Paul's big birthday party. It went ok but he was bouncing off the walls. He doesnt do well in a crowd. But I think all in all everyone had a good time and he got lots of nice gifts. Well this week has been interesting to say the least. I thought I was going to have to have surgery but now I dont. I also lost my Aunt November 18. Its been tough on my mom. Shes lost 2 sisters in 10 months. Not easy to say the least. I have been trying to make some cards and get ready for the holidays but they came up on me so fast this year. Paul's Birthday is Friday and his Party is Saturday. It should be lots of fun. I will try and upload a picture of his invitation that I made. So much going on now that the holidays are here.

New to this business

New to this business. Just thought maybe it might be a place to write how I am feeling. Maybe cheaper than therapy lol. Maybe I need therapy. I am a single mom to a darling 5 almost 6 year old little boy. Its hard sometimes being a single mom but with the help of my parents I manage. I work as an ap clerk and go to school part time. I am trying to finish my Accounting degree. I have been divorced for 4 years. I enjoy stitching and making cards and taking care of my little boy. That's it in a nutshell about me. Hoping this is helpful to me and anyone else out there. I am going to resolve to try and find one positive thing about each day and try and post it here. Today I started this blog. That's positive. I haven't been feeling well but think I am feeling better now.
